    Source Timecode in After Effects?

    Is there a way to see the original source timecode of Quicktime footage that I have imported into AE? I’m using CS3 on a Mac and I am keying select sections from 40 minute clips. I have in and out TC from an EDL and the only way that I know of is to do the math and start from the beginning of the clip. Any help, short of buying Automatic Duck, is appreciated.

    Thanks Dave. It looks like there may be some solutions requiring some coding. I’ll have to do a bit of homework.
