Source timecode burn in???
Is there a way to burn in source timecode from original clips for export to a proxy sized mov file? I want to send some smaller version of the clips to someone on DVD and have them make notes that reflect the original/source timecode rather than the timeline window numbers.

Before you do anything, make a duplicate of the seq with all footage dropped in back to back. and name it BITC reference (tape name?)
find the ‘timecode’ effect in the effects panel search box, add it to the first clip in the timeline.
set up the effects properties in the effect controls panel.
change timecode source to: media
make sure the time display is set correctly too. (it should automatically correct itself if it was wrong, but check it anyway)
copy the clip with the effect on it. Select all the other clips and paste attributes.
