when i double click clips in the browser they appear in the source monitor, that’s all good, however, the source monitor is small, not like the composer monitor which is much larger, and i am unable to resize the source monitor by dragging on the bottom right.
do you know why the source monitor stays really small and why i’m unable to enlarge it?

not sure what you mean by browser? I would try closing the source/sequence window and reopen. they are in theory the same and therefore should be the same size(ish)

If the source monitor is smaller and not attached to your Record monitor, go to your toolsets and choose Source/Record Editing. This should connect the two, and you can resize them together.

If choosing Source/Record Editing doesn’t lock the two monitors together and make them the same size then start looking under your settings–somewhere there’s a setting that clips open in their own monitors (I can’t remember what settings, though, and I’m not in front of a system right now. If you can’t find the setting post here and I’ll check it when I get to work monday)

SIDENOTE: Alt+Double Clicking opens clips and titles (and I think Ctrl+Alt+DoubleClick for sequences) in their own little monitor, much like your clipboard monitor. For those who use Source/Record Editing but want a clip opened in it’s own little monitor, Alt+DoubleClick your clip/title.

If you prefer to keep your source clips opened in a seperate monitor and not attached to the record monitor I think you’re going to be stuck–I don’t believe you can make them larger. Let me know if this works for you.

    Mike.
