Is it possible to have the trimmer window as my only window open in Vegas Pro 8c? For example, I would like to see either the timeline, or the trimmer, in one window, wherever the cursor is active, without having an external monitor. I’ll be working on a lap-top and I need all the real estate I can get. Also, can I toggle between the trimmer and the timeline using key strokes, instead of clicking with the mouse? Thanks, Bill.

Try this: F11 will hide the docking area and only show the timeline. If you make the trimmer fill the whole screen (by making the docking area fill the screen) then F11 will toggle between the trimmer and timeline.

I’d like to see the timeline, and the trimmer window, at all times. When I’m working in the timeline I’d like to see the video in the trimmer window and when I’m working in the trimmer I’d like to see the video there as well (not both at the same time, of course)–as if I was looking at everything on an external monitor.
