    Dear all,

I’m using Premiere Pro CC and Encore CS6 but no dynamic link.

Hence I’m planning to export my completed sequence as Mpeg2-DVD and then importing the m2v file into Encore for a PAL DVD.

The original footage is shot in 1080p.

So I’m guessing I should export the m2v in “lower field” as required by PAL DVD? Are there any issues I should take note of if this is the recommended option?

Or do I export as progressive and then let Encore do the conversion? If so, what exactly do I have to do in Encore?

If there’s a better solution, plese let me know.

    Thanks in advance!

I work with NTSC video and commonly create Progressive MPEG-2 DVD files and use those in Encore, and they do not transcode, don’t see why you couldn’t do the same in a PAL environment.

    Thanks

possible – same working with PAL as well. I wouldn´t use lower first – you can go progressive as well.
