Source for DVX 100A in SF Bay Area?
Hello,
I’m located in the San Jose, CA area and am looking to purchase a DVX 100A. I’ve looked on-line at some specialty camera stores and haven’t had much luck locating a new DVX100A. Any ideas on who may carry these?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Speaking of the bay area, we are looking for an Operator with a DVX100A for a one-day shoot in the Bay Area, probably Fri., 11/25/05. We want to mount the camera on a Jimmy Jib, so we would need someone with a remote start/stop and zoom control, i.e. Stealthzoom, VariZoom or equivalent. We will supply the jib and operator and long enough mini-to-mini cable to reach the camera on the 18′ jib arm. Cam Op would be responsible for exposure (probably Auto-Focus) and location maintenance of camera, working closely w/jib operator.
Also, we would like to ‘jam-sync’ this camera with another DVX100A (free-run time-code) for editing purposes. Is there a cable for doing this? Or is it simply a matter of starting the free-run TC on both camras simultaneously? Any thoughts much appreciated.
One-day job will pay a the going rate for DVX100A and Op.
