    FCP & Soundtrack: open mix

    Hi people
I’d like to know if it is posible to export a project made in FCP to
soundtrack but with the mix open, I mean, without mixing the audio
channels? For example send in one step an eight channels mix.

And which would be the best way to export to protools. (of course with
    the mix open too)

    thanks.

I believe that Soundtrack 2 does this. Keeps the tracks separate. And any changes you make are instantly updated on the FCP timeline.

As for Pro tools…export an OMF. That is what they need. And add handles. Ask the audio guy how much they prefer.

    Thanks for your time Shane…

For your answer I understand that Soundtrack can’t import the the tracks separate.
So, how I supossed to export them?. Including a bip 50 frames before de mix starts and exporting them bye groups of two?. Is it allowed in FCP?. How?

Does anyone know if Soundtrack 2 can import a FCp project keeping its tracks separated?
I think it is a basic workflow between both program, did the FCP program writers forget include this posibility?

Please if someone of the apple support is reading me, please help me.
