    Hey all,

So i am using soundtrack pro for some noise removal in a final cut project. A am sending the files to STP using “Send to Soundtrack-pro Audio File project”. However when i save the files and choose to reference source audio my clips keep disconnecting in FCP. When i try to reconnect (the file it is looking for says “render” after it) i get an error message saying that the media start and end point are different.

This makes little sense because when i check the markers in STP are the same as in FCP. The sample rate, frame rate, and bit depth is all uniform between the two programs.

    Any thoughts?

    Try sending it to STP,
then in STP right click on the file in the editor and pick the bottom selection, I think it’s called replace with independent media. That creates a new STAP clip to work with. When you export back don’t check the box for referenced media. See what happens that way.

Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.
