SoundSoap–is it compatible?
I recently upgraded to Vegas Pro 10, 64 bit. I tried to cover all my bases regarding plug-in compatability, but I forgot about one: Bias SoundSoap.
Does anyone know if 1). There is a plug-in version of SoundSoap that will work with the 64 bit version of Vegas, or 2). if not, is there a substitute that I can use to achieve the same goal of filtering out background noise from my audio tracks?

No, Sound Soap is 32-bit only. You could always use it with the 32-bit version of Vegas and then render the files and use the rendered files in the 64-bit version.

iZotope RX. It’s a far superior noise remover to Sound Soap and it’s 64-bit compatible with Vegas.

Just one follow-up: do you know if I’ll require the standard version of iZotope RX, or the “Advanced” version to support Vegas 64 bit as a plug-in? I hope it’s the former, as the Advanced version is considerably more expensive.

The standard version of Izotope RX2 works fine with my 64bits Vegas

Yea, the standard version of iZotope RX2 is 64-bit and works fine.
