Sound’s choppy in sony vegas 10

Currently having the same problem with the Samsung HMX-H300. Videos play fine from Quicktime/VLC but the audio gets all choppy and out of sync once they’re imported into Vegas. Has there been any headway on this issue?

The conversion described at the end worked for me (I have the HMX-H200). It’s a pain but you could write a script to batch process all .mp4 files in a directory.

For posterity, another fix I discovered for this problem in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum HD version 10 (what the OP specified): Replace the compoundplug file I/O plug-in with the one from a trial of version 11.
