2 questions relating to SoundForge Audio Studio 10

    # I am converting a lot of VHS tapes to DVD with Movie Studio …. I use Soundforge to edit & fad, normalize etc., seen a number of posts that state the best way to reduce noise is to create a noise profile on a quiet section and then apply that to track .. (Audacity was example) can SoundForge do this ?
If not any tips on best way to reduce noise.

    # I have specific portions of tracks which will have a single click, i.e shows as almost vertical spike in audio, which is best way to reduce the level of that specific click (I can highlight it OK)

I have tried the SF presets but seem to get nowhere with these.

Audio Studio 10 doesn’t appear to have the noise reduction plugin that you can get for the Pro version so I’d stick with Audacity. Do all your work in Audio Studio first, save it as a WAV file and then import that into Audacity for noise reduction.

Movie Studio should have volume envelopes. Look in the online help file to confirm this. If it does, all you need to do is apply a very small envelope at the click point to drastically reduce or eliminate it.
