I was thinking about using some of the Sound Track Pro music – I think it’s license free etc. Has anyone used it for broadcast – any ideas on clearance?

Thanks, and sorry for being being slightly off topic.

EDIT: I just spoke to Apple UK support and they’ve told me that the music is good for anything EXCEPT reselling as samples. When I asked if I could put the music in my programmes and broadcast it around the world I was told “yes – all the details are in Ts and Cs.” Hooray.

“You may use the Apple and third party audio file content (including, but not limited to, the built-in sound files, samples and impulse responses) (collectively the “Audio Content”), contained in or otherwise included with the Apple Software, on a royalty-free basis, to create your own original soundtracks for your film, video and audio projects. You may broadcast and/or distribute your own soundtracks that were created using the Audio Content…”
