Sound Sync Problem
I have a couple of projects I’m working on in SVP 11.
They’re just “talking heads” in front of white background.
When I’m editing within SV and just view the clips on the timeline, the audio is synced up fine with the video.
But when I render out, it appears a little off.
Why would this happen?

OK. I think I solved it.
Duh! I simply matched the Project Settings to my Render As settings. I set up a custom template for each.
Dumb question: is it THAT important that Project Settings and Render settings be the same? (I guess so!)
Another question: in the Project Settings, there’s the Pixel Format option in the Video tab. What is that for? I currently have mine set to 8 bit. Should I change it to 32 bit?

If you want what is rendered to match what you saw when editing the project… YES! 😉

It determines if 32-bit math is used when calculating some video FX. You should keep it at 8bit unless you are having a problem with banding of colors at which point you can switch it to 32bit. Lots of things having to do with color behave differently at 32bit so unless you know what you are doing, I would leave it at 8bit.
