    HI, I’m running a G5 Dual 2 gig powerpc with OS 10.4.11
I cut a 9 minute piece in FCP 6.0 in HD (1440×1080). in the actual FCP file everything is great. But in the export which is a H.264 in 29 fps high quality, the quicktime file decided to move the sound “early” at a few particular cuts. I’ve gone back and checked each clip in the timeline and they are all fine both visually and linkingwise. But in the QT it goes back and forth with a shift in sync. any ideas?

    thanks
    jim

Having the same issue, running FCP 6.0 on an Intel 2.66GHz, OS 10.4.11. Exporting an uncompressed Quicktime movie works fine, no sync issues but when I use H.264 compression, I get the same out of sync problem, the audio is early.

Will let you know if we figure anything out. Good luck.
