October 9, 2008 at 6:39 pmSony vegas is an excellent audio editor…and
you can access all those filters you seek
from your VST audio plugins folder as any audio
editing software….an easy approach to access
it is thru the “Plug-in Manager window”. If not
visible go to view and select it.Steve Rhoden

October 9, 2008 at 6:43 pmYou can then easily drag and drop your audio plugin directly
to the audio track (not directly on the audio in the timeline)
and tweak.Steve Rhoden

October 9, 2008 at 7:39 pmGo to preferences…then click the “VST Effects” tab….
There you select Browse and point it to where you
have your vst audio plugins folder installed.Listen..vegas does not come with a load of audio
plugins…you purchase or download free vst plugins
that you want…install them…and then you link them
to vegas as i mentioned above.Steve Rhoden

No they don’t.
If you do as Theo suggested (right-click an audio event and select Apply Non-Real-Time Event FX), a new window will open up.
If all you see is a list of folders, click the All folder and it should show you all the audio FX you have on your computer that Vegas can use.
I suspect that EQ is the FX you’re looking for as far as bass & high pass are concerned.
Because companies sometimes give FX strange names, FX like reverb and echo may or may not be labeled as such.
If you have a Delay FX, you may find an Echo preset in it. -
