Sound On while recording (gone?)
I can’t find the option to turn on/off “sound on while recording”
Would like to listen to the HDV signal through firewire… any chance?

FCP 5 on Dual 2.7 G5 with Sony HVR-M10E deck through firewire.
(For now I can’t monitor from the deck – I know this will solve my immediate problem.)

Try checking ‘preview’ under the ‘clip settings’ tab in the log and capture window.
This threw me at first as well!
