When making a sound object to scrub to…

Null Object > Add Special Track > Sound > Assign sound file (AIF)…

The file does not load. I’ve even converted to WAV just in case C4D was being picky. I’ve done this in previous versions without an issue.

I also copied in an object from an earlier version that did work. It scrubs OK, but it will not load a new sound file.

    Is this a bug?

    Thanks!

    Using R 10.506 / OSX 10.4.11

Please make sure that your sound-file is 44.1 kHz / 16 Bits (.aif/.wav),
and check “Play Sound During Animation”.

    Cheers

That was the ticket. The file supplied was 48.00 khz.

You just saved me a day of time!

    Thanks a million!
