sound like someones on a phone
They had someone just say their lines off camera and pretended they were on the phone. What can I do to their voice to make it sound like they are on the phone? I prefer to do it in Final Cut but I am capable of using soundtrack. Thanks ya’ll.

Garage band has a preset for this effect, BTW.

Use the graphic EQ and pull all the highs and lows out.
Leave only the mid range and you’ll get what you are looking for.Steve Cohen

Hey Ryan,
It’s the “Band Pass” filter. You can season your settings to taste but what worked for me was:
Frequency – 2000
Q – 15I did have to apply a Gain filter first though.
