Sound Effects won’t play samples from the browser in FCPX
I’ve had this problem for a couple of weeks at least…anybody have any ideas? I go to preview sound effects from the library, click on them, nothing happens…sfx do play in the timeline just fine, but I have to drag them down there to even listen to them.

I have this problem also. The work around until they fix it, is to select the waveform at the top(after you have selected an item) and hit pay. After that it seems to work normal until you select music and then go back to Sound Effects again. then I have to repeat. Irritating.

Thank you! Funny thing, I did as you suggested, then after that, they all work. At least until next time I open FCP.
