Sound Effects library
I’m looking for a great sound effects library. I have an investment in the Network Music library; before they were expensive, I bought about 50 of their CDs, which came with a nice big book that laid out every effect, with good descriptions. Very convenient – except that often the effect I need is on a CD I didn’t buy.
Now I’m wondering whether to fill in with some of the Network Music CDs I’m missing, or perhaps go in a different direction. I’ve found free effects on the web on occasion, but that’s hit or miss.
Any advice/recommendations would be most welcome.

I’m sure someone will mention this:
I have no personal experience (with access to a broadcaster’s music and effects library…) but it’s pretty widely used – although the user interface is pretty basic.
