Okay – I open a new project, create a cube primitive, make it editable, move the anchor point to the base, add a cloner, place the cube up into the cloner, now 3 cubes appear. Now, I add the Sound Effector, a yellow outline of 4 corners appears, but much larger than my cube. I open the timeline, right click on Sound effector, add special track – sound. The file loads no problem, I can see and hear the waveform, and scrub it in the timeline. At this point what do I need to do to make the sound effector work? The sound is playing but the cube does nothing. I’ve dropped the sound effector on the cloner – nothing. Sound effector on cube – nothing. Cube on sound effector – nothing.
Sincere apologies for the length of this post, but, I would really appreciate any help on this.

    Humbly yours,

    Chris

There is a Sound Effector tutorial on the v10 Video Tutorial disk.

… you need to select the sound in the Sound File property of the Effector tab of the Sound Effector object not using the timeline sound track. …and you need to have the Sound Effector in the Effectors tab of the Cloner object, if you had the Cloner selected when you added the Sound Effector that would happen automatically but if not you need to add it yourself.
