Sound Devices 302 mixer

April 3, 2005 at 7:15 pmOnly when I was shooting single-system and the cameraman took it upon himself to turn up the gain on the camera’s inputs during a take.
I’ve always found that once I set proper recorder levels and switched on the limiters the SD302 was a pretty solid and reliable mixer.
Have you been experiencing unexplained signal distortion with the `302?

April 6, 2005 at 1:39 amYes i have. Also I just discovered that the mixer does not put out
an even tone on both channels. One is lower than the other.
Very disappointed with this mixer. I may go back to a Shure FP33.
