Has anyone ever pulled a mpeg2 file into Soundbooth CS3 and cleaned up & edited the audio portion of their video file. I rendered a wedding video in Vegas 8, then opened up the file in Soundbooth, and did my thing. I then saved it, and therefore SB rendered (I suppose) the file again. When I put it to a dvd and play it, there is alot of pixelation in the video, when the camera is panning, and about the first 5 minutes of the video, several times there’s a quick red flash on screen, as if there was a solid red .5 sec clip that went by.

Try putting your rendered mpeg2 from vegas to DVD, to
make sure your problem doesn’t come from your render.

If that works, from SoundBooth, save your file as an
audio file. Import it in your dvd app and replace the
audio file ( assuming your DVD app will allow you to do it ).

Your other options would be to render your mpg2 as separate
streams, work on your audio in sound booth and recombine the
2 streams in your dvd app, or render from Vegas in AVI ( I would
be surprised if SB or your DVD app were able to screw that one up )

By the way, which DVD app do you use ?
