    Hello everyone

    I am trying to capture footage shot in HDV 720p PAL using a JVC GY-HD 100E as a VCR via firewire in PPro 2.0. Although settings seem to be correct in both the camcorder and the software, I have full device control but no picture no matter what I do. Same thing happens in other editing software such as Edius 4.24 and FCP. Anyone knows what could be wrong? Please help ’cause a project needs to be edited asap.

    Are you talking about the capture screen going blank while capturing HDV?

    If so, that is normal with Premiere, try using HDVSplit (FREE).
