S.O.S. – What are the highest quality settings you can recommend for DVD?
I’m doing a job where the video is with another person and I need to know what settings he should save and export the video as so we can get the best quality of DVD.
It’s a 12 minute dvd, so size is no issue. I believe the other person is using Final Cut, but could be using Premiere.
Could someone please let me know what would be the best setting for him to export and the best transcode setting for me to use in Encore CS3.

Maybe try MPEG-2 for DVD, PCM audio, VBR: 8000/6000/3825. There should also be an encoding quality setting, that should be set at it’s highest setting. Really, there are many considerations…
Interlace if the source is interlaced – Progressive if the source is progressive.Just some ideas.
