I have a sony fx1 and want to shoot in HDV and then capture in FCP. What setting should I capture? Then I want to edit in HD in the timeline (any steps or settings needed here?). Then I want to edit to tape (this I know how to do) and then (this is what i really need to know) I need to convert to SD and burn a dvd. Sorry if question is amateurish, but I am new to this.
    Thanks,
    Neil

Go look at the last issue of the Creative Cow and look at Jerry Hofmann’s complete article on the HDV Workflow in FCP.
