Sorenson Squeeze Sync issue with audio 23.97fps
Hi.
Im having major issues with audio sync in sorenson squeeze 6.
I exported a uncompressed master copy of my video out of final cut. (audio is in sync in the master copy) master copy is at 1920 x 1080p source material shot at 23.97 master copy exported at current or 24fps – cant remember).
+ i dont have compressor.the video was shot at 23.97fps.
when exporting from squeeze using mpeg4 + h.264 (its a youtube / vimeo preset for squeeze) the sound is every so slightly out of sync. ive tried exporting the master copy out of squeeze at 1.1fps, 24fps, and no difference.the odd thing is i downloaded squeeze 6.5 trail version using the SAME preset and the sound was not out of sync. so im thinking its either a bug in version 6 or maybe has something to do with the bit rate im using, which is set at 5000.
what is the correct fps for the video being compressed??
anyhelp as the client neeeds the video tomorrow.

Hope it’s not too late to offer some help. By 23.97 do you mean 23.976 (aka 23.98) or 29.97. I assume you mean 23.97.
I’ve had some audio issues as well in Sorenson when encoding H.264s. Which encoder are you using? Also, using MediaInfo, what is the framerate of your encode when it comes out of Sorenson?
