    Sorenson Squeeze for Blu-ray

    I’m been trying to use Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 to encode a Blu-ray compatable mpeg2 stream from a 1080i/59.94 sequence edited in Avid Adrenaline HD. Unfortunitly there is no intelligent preset in Sorenson that is compatable. To date I either get errors from Sorenson indicating incompatable settings or the Sonic DVD program I’m using to do the authoring tells me the mpeg2 stream is incompatable with Blu-ray specs. Does anyone know the correct settings for Sorenson to create a Blu-ray compatable mpeg stream?

    Go to the DVD-itProHD forum on sonic.com, and you will find a thread listing encoding parameters for a variety of encoding software that people have had success with.
