Sorenson Squeeze 4.1
I’m using Sorenson Squeeze 4.1 to squeeze a file I created in PPro 1.5. How do I tell Sorenson Squeeze that the file (an avi from PPRO) is in 16:9 format. It seems that after I’m done squeezing it down, it looks stretched. I’m squeezing it to an FLV.

In the advanced settings there’s an aspect ratio setting. Set that to 16×9.

All I see under “advanced” is a “maintain aspect ratio”. I don’t see anywhere where I can choose 16×9. I’m using Sorenson Squeeze 4.1 Suite.

Yes, if having the maintain aspect ratio button checked is causing issues, then uncheck it. Or vice versa. I imagine your source is anamorphic, and this will cause Squeeze to encode to the incorrect square pixel format sometimes.
