Hi all. I just got Sorensen 6 and like much about it. But have a problem with sync.

I exported a self contained Quicktime 422 from my Avid. (Original was XDCam HD). Then compressed to H.264. The result looks like audio precedes video by at least 5 frames.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anyway to delay audio in the encoding? Oh, and of course I’ve checked the timeline and audio and video are in sync.

    Thanks.

Sync issues with Sorensen are usually related to Quicktime/Avid/Sorensen incompatibilities. Check with sorensen to see what version of quicktime you should be using. If I remember correctly- there’s one release version that Sorensen prefers you to use with avid. Try exporting an uncompressed AVI out of Avid- and using that as the source in Sorensen.
