Sony XDCam HD422 Import
Hi,
I got Material in Sony XDCam HD422 Format on an external Harddrive which I wanted to import to edit in FCP.
I worked in XDCam EX before but couldn’t import the clips via Log+Transfer or XDCam Transfer. After upgrading to the new Transfer tool (V2.10) I can import via the transfer tool but I cannot find a plugin that enables to import via the FCP Log+Transfer tool like for XDCam EX.Does anyone know if this is possible and where to find that plugin because its a hell if you rework a problem and cannot relink media through log+transfer… I went through that with XDCam EX before.

No. In this regard, Log and Transfer is available for XDCAM EX workflows only, not for XDCAM HD formats. The prescribed method is to use XDCAM Transfer.
