Finally — divisions of Sony are cooperating with each other. So what does this do for Vegas? Will it be featured on Sony computers? Will we see Vegas moving up in the world? For example, where is Vegas 64? It was announced some time ago but I haven’t seen it.

Yea, and what would really be a dream come true is Vegas for MAC! ha ha – probably never happen!
IMHO the intel MAC’s and OS 10x got it all over windows!

I say “will never happen”.Still, i’ve never really done extensive editing on a Mac…
Just always will be a windows person.

Well, I needed a new laptop. So I gave my old Toshiba brick (9 lbs) to my son. I figured that Mac’s never had the problems windows has and with the new Intel Mac’s and Apple’s Boot Camp IO could get a new Mac Book Pro (4.5 lbs – or was it 5.4?), Install XP and still have MY Vegas.
So I got the MBP, but then decided to try out Final Cut Express. Price was right! 😉 Even was able to get a 200gb 7200rpm drive in the MBP + it came with 2gb RAM and dual core 2.66gHz and even looks great.
When I replace my current editing computer I’ll definately have Vegas + Cinescore, Acid and Sound Forge as well.
