Sony Vegas with Waves Plugin
After several tests in Vegas with Waves plugins I realized that open it in the first time does not occur increase in CPU usage when I view the GUI of plugin. But when I close and reopen Vegas and view the GUI plugin, the cpu usage goes over 90%.
The vegas not increase loading cpu only after restarting Windows.
Why?… the vegas has some function to clear memory when we close?
My Graphic Card is ATI Radeon x1200 Series OpenGL version 2.1 and mem. size 256mb RS690 – 8gb ram.

I can’t reproduce this. I use Waves plug-ins all the time. I just tested this with Vegas Pro 13 and had no problem opening and closing the plug-in GUI multiple times. It sounds like this might be something unique to your computer.

Something wrong is going on at your end. Something else
probably hogging resource in the background.
Also make sure you have Close media files when not the active application
selected in the Vegas Preferences.Steve Rhoden
