Sony Vegas Video Capture Failure
Hello,
This is my very first post here, I hope you guys can help me solve a HUGE problem.
I was capturing a video using a webcam in sony vegas, I left the room for lunch and when I returned my pc off, I mean it turned off by itself, probably due to a power failure or something, the thing is, the capture was not properly finished, nevertheless, it generated a file in the correspondent folder, but I am not able to play it, I tried numerous players, including vegas itself, all to no avail.
Does anyone have any idea on how to recover the files I was capturing?

The forum rules don’t allow me to post a link to another video forum with a solution but do a search for “recover_mp4_to_h264.exe” and you’ll find a utility that can recover some damaged mp4 files where the camera stopped before the file was completely written. Apparently, it is used a lot by the drone community when they power off their drone before shutting off the camera.
