Sony Vegas- Two Critical Problems
Hello Sony Vegas users,
In these problems, I really need help. Because without it, I can’t continue the current projects.
The first problem is, video file.
When I try to put M4V files in the editor, it shows green screens instead of the videos.
Maybe It needs a program, to use the video file type.The second is, system problem.
When I try to load another project of mine, the program stops and crashes.
It says, that something is wrong with the “ntdll.dll” file. And I have no idea how to fix it without re-install the system.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTUi1Q60jGo

What is the info from the free MediaInfo utility program say about your problem file(s). An M4V is an MP4 file and can contain just about any video codec in existence and Vegas does not support everything.

I’ve fixed a lot of these kinds of problems by re-wrapping the video file to a different container (.mp4, .mov, for example). In my case I guess they were corrupt.
Or it may be a missing codec in your case.
