  Sony Vegas to After Effects CS4 File Importing Issues

  Okay,so I’m trying to import a Vegas Pro 11 project into AE CS4 as a .aaf (Avid Legacy File)
  My vegas project is really massive and bulky.
  Whenever I try to import it says out of memory and AE crashes
  Does anyone know how to fix this?
  I’ve tampered with the multiprocessing settings,even allocated HDDs as scratchdisks etc etc etc
  Even cleaned up the registry and disks
  How do I import it without getting any errors or it being crashed?
  I worked so hard on the project and I don’t want it to go to waste!
  So can anyone give me some advice please?
  My PC Specs:
  4 GB RAM
  500 GB SATA II HDD
  512 MB Nvdia Geforce G210 Graphics Card
  Intel Core 2 Duo [2 cores]
  Windows 7 Home Basic 32 bit OS

  There aren’t any effects applied in the vegas project
  Most of em are all plain hard cuts and at one or 2 instances are crossfades
  There are a total of 4 tracks.3 Video tracks and 1 audio track.
  No masks have been made.No pan/crops either
  They’re just stacked in a sequential manner
  But yes the files I worked with in the project are mostly MP4
  [WMV causes issues in AE for me]
  The audio file is MP3

  I’ve even closed instances of other programs in the task manager too
  But it still says Error 217K Memory required
  No background programs are running either
