When a video in Sony Vegas Pro 9 finishes rendering, the program stops working and the the rendered file becomes corrupted. Sony Vegas then closes and I receive an error report stating that the reason for the program closing is unable to be determined. What should I do?

I’ve got the same problem, but don’t see any solution or real explanation given anywhere. Just purchased this softwarte and find I can’t even use it. Can’t tell you how pissed off I am. What the heck is up? Can NAYONE help me resolve this problem. RED screen trying to play single video clip on time line – recorded on Nikon D7000 at 1080p. Project set to ‘match media settings’ so should not be an issue. Have loads of spare RAM. Tried reducing active threads from 4 to 2 as was suggested (no joy with that). tried setting the Dynamic RAM Preview MAX to different settings. Only joy I got was when creating new project and setting it to HDV 720p rather than 1080p. But what’s the point of that when I recorded in 1080p?
