  • Sony Vegas – Selecting/Moving multiple volume points?

I haven’t been able to find anything on this, but is there an easy way to select and move multiple audio/volume points in an envelope? It’s easy to grab the bar and move a couple together, but I’d like the ability to shift an entire set of points. Just curious.

    Thanks

Hold CTRL and select all the ones you want to move?

    Something like that!

Select the “Envelope Edit Tool” (toolbar icon, also found under the Edit menu), drag over the desired points to highlight them and then move as desired.
Holding down the Alt key while doing this ensures that they will move in a horizontal direction only.
Remember to switch back to the Normal Edit Tool when you’re done.

    You’re very welcome.
To be honest, I had no idea that this could be done until I started playing with this tool so I learned something new too 🙂

Is there anyway to select multiple points horizontally?

Lets say the envelope points go up and down through out the video, I want to select all the low points and set them to be the same, all at once.

    Is this possible?
    Thanks

6 years later and it was just what I was looking for. Many thanks Mike!
