Help! Everytime I import a small or long clip into Sony Vegas it DOUBLES it’s original size after it’s done saving the movie. I can’t afford to lose any space on my hard drive. Can someone please assist me in getting rid of this annoying problem??!!!

Sounds like you’re doing a Save As, and including media with project. Stop doing that, and your project will only reference original media.

I import all my raw video into a default VegasJunk folder. Then I edit it, cutting out all the parts I don’t need. Then, when i’m done editing, I “save as” and save only the portion of the raw footage that is included in my final edited Vegas file. I save this to a folder that i will never delete and then go into that VegasJunk file and delete the original raw footage. Saves a lot of space if you have a lot of unused junk in your original footage.
