Sony vegas rendering time?
Okay, lately I’ve been trying to make a new video for my youtube channel, I have one problem, I added a footage video to sony vegas, sped it up 300%, nested and sped up 300% more. After this, I added a song, finished the project, I saved it and was ready to render until I see the long time it takes rendering! It nearly renders 1 frame per second! Is this imaginable? It is taking 2 hours for a 4 minutes video! Is this normal? I really need a fix because I don’t want to wait 2 hours for a 4 minutes video, what if I need to make a 1 hour video or something? Lifetime render?

Wow that is a long time. Just curious, but what is the footage format, what format are you rendering to, and what is your cpu?

Check that, I’m rendering WMV in a very good quality wich passes 1080p after it is uploaded:

240pHowever it’s encrypted and the video size is very small after render: like 50mbg a 5 mins video
