Sony Vegas Pro 9 set up and computer system
I have been using Sony Vegas 9 for over a year now and just started having problems with it not letting me perform some functions. I am putting together a series of dvds using sony vegas and it keeps crashing on me when I want to import previous vegas projects into a current project so I can create a finished 30 minute dvd. Here is what I have done so far…moved all video files to my external hard drive as well as all vegas projects. Prerendered files and temp files are on external hard drive as well. Numurous times during import media or project, Sony Vegas will say that it cannot find file and ask me to look in another location, which I tell it to look in external drive and it eventually finds it. All video that I am using in my current projects come from a Sony FX7, Sony AX 2000, Sony HV40, or Canon XHA1s. What do I need to do to stop vegas from crashing? Also, I want to produce a series of broadcast quality projects to submit to a local television station and wondered if I have the computer to do it. My computer specs are…HP Elite 7100 micro tower PC, Intel(R) Core(TM)i7cpu, 860 @2.80 GHz, Hard Drive C: 458GB with 423 free and external drive F: 1397GB with 1212 free. Any help would be great!
