    Good day to all!

I have a panasonic HDC TM700 and using a vegas pro 8c for editing. When i am about to render my m2ts clips from the camcorder, there were times that i have a succesfull rendering of videos, but when i am about to render my project to youtube wmv settings, the rendering time takes very long and the preview windows on a certain time would freeze and later turn black. But as for HD AVI video setup (30p 24 etc..) it seems to be working fine.

    Any suggestions?

Also is the Sony vegas pro 10 a good choice for an upgrade? It seems AVCHD has compatibility problems with Vegas

I would download the free 30-day trial of Vegas Pro 10 and use it for a month and see for yourself. You bought a modern camera… you need to buy modern software. Vegas Pro 10 is way better at handling AVCHD than Vegas Pro 8 was. Considering that AVCHD was just coming out around the time of Vegas Pro 8, I’d say it’s time for an upgrade. I have no problems with AVCHD and Vegas Pro 10 (I didn’t have problems with Vegas Pro 9 either).
