    No problem Jo.

That’s what we’re all here for to learn from some and to teach others.

    No te preocupes Jo.

Eso es lo que estamos todos aquí para aprender de unos y otros a enseñar.

    Hi Steve
I actually only know a few words in quite a few languages. However, I found Google’s Translate to be extremely helpful! 😉 And it does a really decent job for a machine translation.

    https://www.google.com/translate_t

In my normal work, I regularly have a need to translate Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Spannish and Chinese from/to English.

Darn, now my secret is out ha ha
    Regards

Rule of thumb #1 – Unless you’re doing text on a solid colored background, use the “Default Text” option.

To change your text event back to transparent, click the green “Generated Media” icon in the upper right corner of the text event.
This opens up the Text options box.
    Click the “Properties” tab.
Go to the “Background Color” section, grab the “Alpha” slider and drag it down to the bottom (100% down to 0%).
You could also enter a value of 0 in the “A” box (to the right of the RGB value boxes)

    Hi Jo

You know, I was going to translate to Portuguese as a first thought but then decided on Spannish.

    Sorry.
    Allen

    Oi Jo

Você sabe, eu estava indo para a tradução para Português como um primeiro pensamento, mas depois decidiu, em Spannish.

    Desculpe.

ok no problem but those machines that translate to portuguese are too bad… because they never are correct.

    Portuguese is a difficult language.

Hi all, im having a similar problem , hoping you can all help. I have made a video with lots or sporadic pieces of text imposed over a video clip. i have recently tried to speed up the text portion only, so rather that recut each individual generated media text piece (My video has around 900 pieces of these!) i chosed to render it to a new file and add a velocity envelope, which works fine, but when i place the faster rendered piece above the video clip it no longer is imposed over the video. im assuming after rendering the text it has lost its transparency. How do i rerender the text and still keep its background transparency.

    Many thanks,

    Mike
