    Hello guys!

I have a problem with sony vegas pro 13.0. I would like to cover subtitles with other subtitles, so I tried to add black backgrounds to the texts. I don’t know why, but the screen usually flashes and darkens for a moment if I use this technique. I recorded a video about it and uploaded to YouTube.

Can you please watch it and give me advices how to fix this?

Check your edit timeline for the mask, I think you maybe “animating the mask” vegas automatically chooses to edit certain events from the frame at which you had the slider on when you made the edit. If you open the edit window for the clip, you should see little diamond shapes along a line near the bottom of the window, if one of these is not right at the beginning, try sliding it to the start, see if that helps.
