At least you now know that it’s an audio problem. 😉

well… How powerful is it? What CPU? How much RAM? How much free hard drive space? etc. We can tell you if it meets requirements.

4GB Ram, CPU G3220 3.00 GHz, over 400GB free hard drive space. Not the best PC so i will be looking to upgrade soon, especially since its difficult to render out videos and upload them to youtube

Yea, that’s only a dual-core. If you get a Core i7 and more memory you’ll see a big difference. Probably 3x faster.

Harry I had the exact same problem and finally figured it out. Might be the same problem as you. turns out my speakers were turned off on my computer, so when sony tried to play a sound it just froze. Nothing! I “solved” this by plugging in my earphones into the audio jack of the computer.

You would think if the computer detected no sound device sony would I dunno either tell you there’s no sound keep working or print an error message but nope just freezes up.

So try plugging in your earphones might help.
