    [John Rofrano] “You don’t need to do this in Vegas Pro 13.0. In 13.0 you can control FX’s with a Mask. Just create a Mask in the Pan/Crop tool and set Apply to FX to Yes. This will apply the mask to the FX so you can control where the FX is applied.”

    This feature is in Vegas 12 as well.

    My mistake. Yes it is there in VP12 too.

    You mean don’t have this? See I’ve pointed-out the MASK Timeline within the Pan/Crop Window:-

    Are you sure that you are using Vegas Pro 13.0 and not Movie Studio 13.0? Movie Studio doesn’t support Masks.
