Sony Vegas Pro 13 CUDA rendering GTX680
CUDA rendering settings for MainConcept AVC/AAC doesn’t work on Vegas 13. The thing is, CUDA worked 4 months ago on the same PC, I just reinstalled my OS, put every last update on it. I can’t find the reason CUDA doesn’t work.
To be more specific: it renders with the same speed as “CPU only” with 0% GPU load. “Check GPU – CUDA is available”I tried 344.11, 335.23, 334.89 and 332.21 Nvidia drivers. I also tried Vegas 373, 310 and 290(the one I used when CUDA worked) builds.
I’m using i7-3770K (overclocked to 4.3GHz), 8GB RAM, GTX680 2GB (Palit), Win7 x64.
I’m desperate because I know it worked and I did see rendering speed improvements. Please help.

Which AVC/AAC? Sony or MainConcept? I don’t see any difference on Sony AVC between GPU vs CPU but I get a *BIG* difference with MainConcept AVC.

Yes, thank you for clarification, it’s MainConcept AVC.

I get a big boost with MainConcept AVC using OpenCL on my ATI Radeon HD 5870 card but I remember that my NVIDIA Quadro 4000 didn’t see much of an improvement at all. I published my NVIDIA timings in this thread. My ATI Radeon timings and same project are in this post (same thread).
