Sony VEGAS PRO 12.0 – Below part of video is blurred
Hello dear friends,
I seem to have a problem with some videos. As you see the below part of the video is kinda blurred. Does somebody know how I can fix this? When I play them at Windows Media Player they work normally, but at the preview and after rendering they are blurry at the below part.

What render settings and format are you rendering it to?
Did these videos come from a phone etc?In the meantime, try making sure the Vegas project settings are the same
as the video you have on the timeline and try rendering to a different format.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

That is NOT blurring. You should run MediaInfo against your source file, and tell us what MediaInfo says about it.

These videos come from a phone, yes. Its a .mp4 video
I have rendered it to .wmv and .mp4 doesnt make a difference.
I have made a new project and only put the video there (so the project settings were the same) but still it doesnt work properly.

When I open a new project and only put that video in, now at the preview it works properly but when I render it it becomes “blurry with stripes” at the lower part.

My guess is that Vegas does not support the Engels codec. I cannot find useful references to it on Google.
