Sony Vegas Pro 12 Render Issue
Sony Vegas Pro 12 Build 367 64-bit
I am having an issue trying to render using the MainConcept ACV/AAC setting. I am using the internet HD 1080p and have only changed the bit rate to be a hair lower. The issue is once rendered the video looks great but every so often I get moments where the video goes fuzzy like a blurry effect then back to normal. I tried changing the template back to normal and it’s the same. I tried looking up info in it but found nothing. In case this is needed my pc info: i7 3930k at 4.3, x2 gtx 680’s 4gb, 16gb ram, asus rampage iv formula board, ssd drives. If any other info is needed please let me know.

I too get that sometimes John. Use the Sony AVC format with

I don’t have that option under Sony AVC.

What option are you referring to?
Almost all the option that is in Mainconcept AVC is in Sony AVC,
except for maybe 2 pass and deblocking etc.
If its another option, there is no need to fuss with it.Steve Rhoden

He may be refering to the fact that the “Internet” templates were moved from Sony AVC to MainConcept AVC so they don’t show up under Sony anymore. I have two under Sony AVC but I’m not sure when they got put back and he’s on an earlier build.

I ended up trying the memory stick template then changing the settings within and it’s the same settings. Just rendered a video and wow was the time so much faster. 45 minute video in 1080 in under 30 minutes and the quality is perfect. No issues at all. I am very surprised I have always used the wmv setting and thought the quality was good. Issue was trying to watch it on full screen in youtube the quality was not a true hd. Now with these new settings the quality is perfect and the render times are cut down by a 1/3. Thanks for the help fellas.

Yea, I would avoid WMV for any Internet video. Use AVC/H.264 (either Sony or MainConcept) for low bit-rate high quality video.
