Sony Vegas Pro 12 Not Opening Project

Usually this is caused by bad media. Try moving all of your media to a different folder. Then when Vegas prompts you for where the media is, point it to the first file and ignore the rest and see if the project loads. If it does, save that project under a new name, close and open this new project again, and point to the next file and save. Keep doing this until the project does’t load. The last file you pointed it to is causing the problem.

What you might want to consider doing in the future is creating a separate folder for every project and then just copy in the media files for that project into the folder. It makes it much easier to manage and backup your media that way.
